Fort HealthCare: ER parking lot construction begins Friday; entry available from Armenia Street
Fort HealthCare officials have announced that construction affecting access to the facility’s emergency room will begin Friday.
The hospital is located at 611 Sherman Ave., Fort Atkinson.
The institution advises that patients and caregivers, beginning Friday, will need to enter and exit the emergency room parking lot and drop off area from Armenia Street due to construction.
According to information released by the facility, fencing will be placed along the north entrance and exit, blocking access from the McMillen Street and Fourth Street intersection.
The construction phase is slated to continue through mid-October, the release stated.
A map above shows the configuration of streets surrounding the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Construction to an emergency room parking lot at the facility beginning Friday will necessitate access to the ER from Armenia Street, according to information released by hospital officials. The construction is anticipated to complete in mid-October.
