The Whitewater Unified School District has announced that its buildings will be closed Friday due to a winter storm warning that is “tracking heavy snow that will impact travel during school hours,” according to its website. 

The buildings will be closed throughout the day, including during regularly scheduled before- and after-school athletics and activities, the website noted.
