The Greater Whitewater Committee (GWC) has announced that University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment and Retention Jackie Briggs will serve as guest speaker during the organization’s monthly meeting planned for this Thursday.
According to information released by the committee, Briggs will discuss the university’s recent efforts to increase enrollment and maintain retention.
The meeting will be held at 841 Brewhouse, 841 E. Milwaukee St., Whitewater, at at 7 a.m.
The meeting is open to the public, but a reservation is required, the released stated.

According to the release, Briggs began serving in her current position with the university last spring. Previously, she served as the director of admissions, with the university, performing in that role since 2017. She also previously has served as the assistant director of admissions at UW-La Crosse.
Briggs received her bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and psychology from UW-Whitewater. She received her master’s degree in college student counseling and personnel services from Bowling Green State University, the release noted.
