Program director open house
Members of the community are invited to an open house at Edgerton Hospital, 11101 N. Sherman Rd, Edgerton, to meet Senior Life Solutions Program Director Lieneke Hafeman and learn more about resources for older adults, according to a recent news release.
The open house will be held Tuesday, April 9, between 10:30 a.m. and noon.
“This event is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about our program, to meet our staff, see our space, and learn about the services we provide through Senior Life Solutions,” Hafeman, RN, BSN, was quoted as saying in the release.
Those attending the event also will be offered a tour of the space, an opportunity to ask questions, and light refreshments, the release stated.
The program is designed to meet the needs of individuals, typically 65 and old, who are experiencing depression and anxiety related to life changes that are often associated with aging, the release noted.
According to the release, program staff includes a board-certified psychiatrist, a nurse practitioner, a licensed therapist, a registered nurse, and other trained professionals focused on helping older adults in the community as they navigate difficult life transitions and regain their quality of life.
