Director of Marketing and Community Relations and Leisure Services at Fairhaven Senior Services Brian Robinson today announced that the facility has completed its earlier announced $10 million renovations project.
As noted last summer, the renovations focused on bringing additional “community-based residential facility (CBRF)” assisted living units to the facility’s “main building,” on its second, third and fourth floors.
Upon project completion, Robinson stated last July, the CBRF will have a total of 47 units, along with lounges on each floor.
Upon their completion, 24 units found on the facility’s third and fourth floors, Robinson noted in a release last year, will feature a “walk-in kitchenette,” living space and a “fully accessible bathroom with a walk-in shower.”
Twenty-three second floor units, he noted last year, will “offer a more intensive level of services and care.”
With work now completed, Robinson noted in today’s release, members of the public are invited to tour the new facilities.
The tour will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24, at two separate times, with the first taking place between 10 a.m. and noon, and a second held between 4 and 7 p.m.
Fairhaven Senior Services is found at 435 W. Starin Rd., Whitewater.
