The Fort Atkinson-Eli Pierce Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution has announced that Whitewater High School student Ghati Binagi is among this year’s recipients of the “Good Citizen of the Year” award.
The organization names several students from area high schools annually.
Binagi, along with other recipients whom the organization continues to announce, will be honored during a luncheon which the organization will hold in March, chapter spokesperson Chris Spangler recently noted.
About Binagi
According to information released by the Fort Atkinson-Eli Pierce Chapter of the Daughters of the Revolution, Ghati Binagi was chosen as a recipient of the award, in part, due to her academic achievements, which include maintaining an “A” average in her coursework.
